EI's Newest Division
The EI Sport Horse Breeding Division strives to support the efforts of local horse breeders. Everyone benefits from a thriving collaboration between breeders, trainers, riders, and farm owners.
The E.I. Sporthorse division is excited to host the 2018 Sport Horse Breeders Classic & USDF Northwest Breeders Championships. These are two separate shows with the Championships starting Sunday afternoon. August 25 & 26, 2018

Saturday August 25: Sport Horse Breeders Classic I

Materiale and individual Prospect/Breeding Stock (DSHB) classes from this show will qualify for Sunday’s Finals. Group, Amateur Handler and Individual Breed Classes will also be offered.

Sunday August 26: Sport Horse Breeders Classic II

Sunday August 26: USDF Breeders Championship Northwest Series Finals

The USDF Breeders Championship Finals will start Sunday afternoon after the conclusion of the Sport Horse Breeders Classic II classes. All horses that have qualified for championships this weekend in either of the 2 shows, or at a previous show in our region are welcome back to participate in these classes. 
DSHB Finals Qualifications
To qualify for the USDF NW Breeders Finals, all Champions and Reserve Champions from the Sport Horse Breeders Series Qualifier classes, or other regional qualifiers will be eligible to compete in the Finals. In the event that a champion or reserve champion has already qualified for the Final, the 3rd placed horse in that class will be eligible to compete in the Final. In addition, any other horse receiving a 77% or better in its DSHB prospect or breeding stock class will be qualified and eligible to compete in the Final. See pp. 12-13 of the prize list for more information on qualification for and conduct of these Finals; see also chart of Membership Requirements on page 6.
Materiale Championship Qualifications:
USDF Materiale Championships! Two Championship classes, one for 3-Year-Olds and one for 4- and 5-Year-Olds.  
Horses already qualified are listed on the USDF website. (http://www.usdf.org/competitions/competitions-championships/sporthorse/qualifiedhorses_materiale.asp
Horses not yet qualified must earn a score of 72% or higher in a Materiale class at any USEF/USDF recognized show. The rider in the qualifier and in the championship do not have to be the same person, but both must be USDF Participating Members at the time of their respective rides. The Owner must also be a Participating or Business Member at the time of the qualifying and Championship rides. You’ll find  complete qualification requirements on pp. 13-14 of the prize list; see also chart of Membership Requirements on page 6.

Calling all Volunteers !!!!
Our shows cannot run without the loyal support of our dedicated volunteers. Are you interested in supporting us or might know of someone who is? This is a really fun show to work at as all positions are in the show arena. Meaning you will have the opportunity to watch all the classes and be fully involved with all the competitors. No need to be stuck at the back warm up ring or closed in a room all day! Seeking fun outgoing personalities who want to watch adorable horses run all day. No experience required. We have open positions for:
